Post Study Work Right:

Graduates of Bachelor and Masters by coursework who have spent a minimum of two academic years qualify for two years of Post Study Work Right. Three years of Post Study Work Rights are granted to master by research graduates. Doctorate graduates obtain four years of Post Study Work Rights.

Work and Migration:

Students, upon completing 2 years of study in Australia, are granted a 24 months visa. During this period he/she can work full time or even develop his/her skills to earn points for the General Skilled Migrant Policy of PR. Within 18 months students can apply for different visa categories or apply for an employer-sponsored visa.

Visa:

Only those students studying in CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) are given the Australian Student Visa (the Subclass 500). A student needs to make an online visa application to be able to study at colleges in Australia. The country follows the Simplified Student Visa Framework, which has brought about an easier application process. To apply for an Australian student visa, the student can start submitting the visa 120 days before the commencement of the course. The student should have gained acceptance in a full-time course, registered by the government. Prospective students are required to fulfill the GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) requirements by the Australian visa process. Students require to show sufficient funds/finances to cover the tuition fees and living costs.
