University of Wisconsin Eau Claire is a part of the University of Wisconsin system.

The university os located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The University has housing, library, and recreation facilities for students.

An important part of being a successful college student is getting involved on campus, and student organizations provide an excellent opportunity for involvement. With over 250 student organizations, UW-Eau Claire provides a multitude of opportunities for students to explore.

Students interested in joining a student organization should use the student organization search feature and register on OrgSync to request to join, or stop by the Student Organizations and Leadership Center for more information. Students can also check out the Blugold Organizations Bash, a showcase of many student organizations, at the beginning of each semester.

The Student Organizations and Leadership Center is home to student organizations and Student Senate, and provides workspace, organization mailboxes, lockers, meeting rooms, computer access, and staff support. The Student Organizations Workshop, located within the Student Organizations and Leadership Center, provides a workspace for creating projects.

The Workshop has a number of supplies for organizational use, including banner paper, construction paper, paints, Texas Markers, die cuts, sidewalk chalk, crayons,stencils, and much more. Student organizations are welcome to use these materials at any time for organizational purposes.

College of Business is AACSB accredited.

The UW-Eau Claire MBA program gives you a broad, practical understanding of business and the dynamic, global environment in which it operates. You will develop the skills and entrepreneurial spirit needed to manage change and recognize the opportunities it creates. And you will learn guidelines for confronting situations in an ethical and socially responsible manner.

As a student in our 30 credit MBA program, you will enroll in:

• 16 credits of MBA modules
• 2 credits of required mini modules: Leadership and Diversity
• 12 credits of electives

There are 4 modules:

Module 1 : Strategies for Managing Ongoing Operations

Focuses on the strategies for managing the day-to-day operations of an organization and the interplay among the various functional areas of business. As a student in this module, you will analyze and discuss corporate issues and formulate a strategy that is customer focused. You will discuss manufacturing and service strategies that support a company's target markets.

Module 2 : Developing New Products and Services

Focuses on the complexities involved in launching new products/services, business ventures, subsidiaries or divisions within existing businesses. Two themes predominate in this course: a marketing theme focuses on the identification of and fulfillment of customer needs and a financial theme which explores capital budgeting and long-term financing issues. NOTE: Module 2 students enroll concurrently in MBA 715 - Leadership, a required, one-credit elective.

Module 3: Managing Strategically in a Global Environment

Challenges you to develop the critical skills and integrated knowledge necessary to function effectively in today's global environment. You will analyze the impact of multinational corporate lobbying on geopolitical issues and discuss how global agreements, changing technologies, global institutions, and evolving political patterns affect the conduct of global business.

Module 4: Leading the Organization of the Future

Investigates the dynamics of changes and the importance of corporate strategies in determining the organization of the future. Students will explore how to effectively integrate information technology, human resource management, and organizational change practices to chart the future course of the organization.

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation Fellowships are awarded on the basis of scholarship and scholarly potential. Assistantship awards are based, in part, on admission to full standing in a degree program (or eligibility for full standing upon completion of the baccalaureate degree).
