Post Study Work Visa in Australia - Part 1

  1. The applicant should be a recent graduate and under 50 years old.
  2. In order for the applicant's skills and qualifications to be listed on Australia's Skilled Occupation List, they must be pertinent to the demand in Australia.
  3. The candidate must be in possession of an Australian study visa, and the language of instruction must be English.
  4. The candidate must possess a valid IELTS,TOEFL-iBT, PTE Academic, or Cambridge C1 advanced test score to demonstrate his or her proficiency in English.
  5. In the previous six months, the candidate should have received at least one certificate or degree from a CRICOS-registered programme.
  6. The applicant must successfully satisfy all physical and moral requirements.
  7. Neither a subclass 476 visa nor a subclass 485 visa should be held by them.
  8. The application will be deemed invalid if the applicant's visa has ever been cancelled or rejected.

II. Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) for Post-Study Workstream:

The majority of students who wish to work in Australia after finishing their studies prefer this type of post-study work visa. International students with recent degrees from reputable Australian educational institutions who meet the eligibility requirements are the best candidates for this visa (irrespective of their field of study). Australia's term with this post-study employment visa ranges from two to four years. If they hold this visa, students may also bring their family members. Furthermore, within six months of finishing their courses, students must apply for this visa. Check the requirements for this type of visa listed below.

  1. The candidate must be under 50 years old.
  2. The candidate must possess a graduate degree from a CRICOS-registered programme.
  3. The candidate must have a current student visa. A candidate is also qualified if they had a student visa during the previous six months.
  4. The applicant must not be in possession of subclass 485 or subclass 476 visa.
  5. The applicant must successfully satisfy all requirements for Australian studies.
  6. The applicant must hold at least one of the following degrees: Bachelor's degree, Honors with a bachelor's degree, Master's degree by subject/coursework, Master's degree (extended), Master of Research degree, Doctoral degree.
  7. This sort of work visa is not available to students with a diploma or trade certification.
  8. The candidate must possess a valid IELTS, TOEFL-iBT, PTE Academic, or Cambridge C1 advanced exam score to demonstrate his or her ability in English.
  9. The candidate must successfully satisfy all medical and moral standards.

III. Skilled Recognized Graduate Visa (Subclass 476)

Graduates of specific educational institutions who earned their engineering degrees within the previous two years are eligible for this visa. To bring their family to Australia, they must get this visa, which allows for a stay of up to 18 months.
