Trinity College Dublin
- With the Government's decision for the whole State to move to Level 5 for Living with COVID-19 from midnight on Wednesday 21 October 2020, the arrangements for teaching at Trinity College Dublin will comprise of an amalgamation of remote and on-campus learning.
- Campus residences and online study spaces will remain open.
- It is the responsibility of the international student to apply for the visa and to follow the necessary processes.
- Upon arrival, students are asked to restrict their movements for a period of 14 days and are asked to fill a form to the same effect by the college.
University College Dublin
- All applications to the university are being assessed in the usual way.
- If an interview is compulsory as part of the application, the relevant School or Unit will be in touch with students to schedule a phone or online interview.
- For the 2020/21 academic year, the university has curated a schedule in line with public health advice.
- To ensure that the campus is a safe place for students, social distancing and new cleaning measures are put in action. The university has established dedicated entrances and exits along with one-way systems, queues and distance markers combined with other safety measures like hand sanitising stations.
National University of Ireland, Galway
- In line with Level 5 measures in the National Framework for Living with COVID-19, only essential on-site activities may continue on campus.
- All other teachings will be online for the rest of Semester 1.
- Immigration officials at the port of arrival may request documentary evidence that students are required to physically attend the NUI Galway campus. Students will need to have this in their possession on arrival in the event of an immigration official requesting it. Students should have received this letter in August from the university.
- Students must complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form and present it to an immigration officer at the point of entry.
- Students must complete the NUI Galway Travel & Accommodation Form to confirm their travel and accommodation arrangements.
