Founded in 1919, Lincoln University has developed an innovative and multicultural education. Location & Facilities

The University is located in a beautiful historic building at 15th and Franklin Streets in downtown Oakland, in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and many bus routes are nearby. Situated only a few blocks from the center of a vital, growing city, the University provides attractive environment for its students. It has spacious classrooms, an auditorium, and a Library,as well as computer, ultrasound/ECG, and English labs. Scholarships

The Board of Trustees Scholarship:
Entering and continuing students with superior academic records are eligible to apply for a Board of Trustees Scholarship.


The Leadbetter Scholarship:
Through a generous contribution of Judge Phillip and Mrs. Ruth Leadbetter, a scholarship fund in their name has been established. Judge Leadbetter is a former Professor of Lincoln University. A scholarship of $500 is awarded to a selected student who is entering the senior year of the Lincoln University undergraduate program.
