Students are free to find their own accommodation in the city and house and flat-shares are easy to find online.  Rents in London are high, but with some searching it is possible to find good rooms for about £600 per month (excluding bills) in zones 2-3.

However, in order to check the condition and suitability of potential accommodation it is important to see it in person before agreeing to move in and, if you are unable to do so, to remove the risk we recommend taking a room at a hall of residence that has been approved by Amity.  We are able to help arrange places for students in a variety of student halls around the city and the details of those we commonly use are listed below.  In order to receive help with arranging accommodation, please indicate in order of preference on your application form the halls of residence in which you are interested.

Emily Bowes Court - Tottenham Hale N17
Run by UNITE, Emily Bowes Court is a purpose-built student block conveniently located by Tottenham Hale railway station.  Residents are housed in en-suite bedrooms in flats with shared kitchen and dining areas.  Allocation of rooms in each flat takes into account preferences with regard to smoking, vegetarianism, year of study and single sex accommodation.

Conway Hall - Waterloo SE1

Conway Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed building which has been sensitively converted into a modern hall of residence.  This American style accommodation has shared twin-bedrooms in flats of 6-10 students, with fully equipped kitchens and comfortable living areas.  Located across the street from Waterloo Station and a stone's throw from the Thames, Conway Hall is in a prime location to take advantage of all central London has to offer.

Mansion Lock - Camden Town NW1

Mansion Lock provides some of the highest standard student flats anywhere in London, in one of the best locations - the popular area with its market is one of the most creative, cultural, and colourful parts of London. The building also boasts a rooftop garden terrace where you can relax and take in panoramic views of the surrounding city. Nearby Underground and Overground stations ensure excellent transport links to the rest of London.

Finance & Bursaries
The Atul Chauhan Scholarship

The Atul Chauhan Scholarship is awarded from a limited fund to high achieving students in the form of a reduction in their tuition fees. We welcome scholarship applications from all students and applicants are assessed purely on their academic ability.

To apply for a scholarship, please complete a scholarship application form, available on request from the Admissions Office, and submit it alongside your application to study at Amity.

Bursaries are awarded with the aim of broadening access to higher education by providing financial assistance to talented students who are less able to afford the cost of studying.

A bursary may cover a percentage or the entirety of a student’s tuition fee, although the cost of living is not covered and must be met by the student themselves.

Bursaries are awarded at the beginning of each term and applications may be submitted at any time, though they are never awarded retrospectively, only to cover a period of study yet to come. In order to apply, please complete and submit a bursary application form, available on request from the Admissions Office. The questions on the form are designed to establish applicants’ financial circumstances as clearly as possible and, to this end, we do ask for documentary evidence in support of applications. We wish to ensure that students in the greatest need receive the available funds.
