Programs in effect for students entering Northwest for the first time in
fall 2018. Admission-based scholarships have admission application deadline
of May 1 to guarantee scholarship awards. For students who complete their
admission application after May 1, scholarships will be awarded contingent
upon available funding.
Transfer Scholarships
No separate scholarship application is required. Scholarship level is
determined by the transfer GPA and transferable credit hours provided on the
college transcript(s) with admission application.

Transfer applicants with fewer than 24 transferable hours and meeting the

A majority of the foundation and major-based scholarships can be
applied for by completing the Standard Scholarship Application.
Students who initially received the President's scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa
scholarship, Distinguished Scholar, Tower scholarship, Cultural Enrichment
scholarship, Transfer President's scholarship, Transfer Distinguished
scholarship, Transfer Academic scholarship, Bearcat Advantage, Green and White
Advantage, or Northwest A+ scholarship may renew the scholarship by meeting the
renewal requirements listed in the scholarship description (see Disclaimers
which may apply, including summer enrollment and maximum awards for each
scholarship).
