Scholarships & Financial Aid for Indian Students

University Merit Scholarships

Upon admission to Mercer, all students are evaluated for eligibility to receive a merit scholarship. University scholarships are funded through endowed and/or restricted scholarship funds and must be applied to tuition costs only unless otherwise indicated.

Additional scholarship competitions are held for admitted students where invited students can compete for additional named merit scholarships which are added to a student's financial aid package. If a student is awarded a premier, full-tuition, scholarship, the full scholarship will replace all other merit awards.

Merit scholarships are renewable for 4 years (8 semesters) for students enrolled in the Traditional Residential Program on Mercer's Macon campus.

Athletic Scholarships

Athletic Scholarships are determined by the athletic department and are awarded annually. Athletes sign an athletic agreement each year with their scholarship amount.

ROTC and Room Board Scholarship

Covers the cost of housing up to the current academic year. If a cadet elects a more costly housing option, the cadet is free to do so but will be held responsible to cover the difference in cost. The room and board scholarship also covers the unlimited meal plan.

University Partners Scholarship

The University Partners Scholarship is awarded to eligible students based on financial need and is renewable for a maximum of eight semesters. Students must complete the FAFSA each year to determine eligibility for need-based funds. There is not a separate application for the University Partners Scholarship. Students are evaluated for scholarship eligibility during the awarding process.
