Students at Marywood, whether they major in Athletic Training and Exercise Science or participate in sports for personal challenge, have access to a wide array of athletic facilities. You'll find a gym, aerobics room, racquetball courts, a weight room, pool, tennis courts and new, expanded playing fields.
In addition to the facilities for sports participation, you'll find a well-equipped Athletic Training room which allows students in the Athletic Training Program to gain experience in the use of whirlpool, ultrasound, electric stimulation, and orthotron. Graduate students and ESL students enrolled in the Intensive English Program (IEP) may be housed in on-campus housing on a first-come-first-serve basis if units are available. The Housing and Residence Life Office is located in the Domiano Center for Student Life. Marywood guarantees housing to all undergraduate students, both foreign and native for four years if desired. Graduate students who do not apply for housing on campus, will need to search for off-campus housing independently. Students who will benefit from the Marywood University Tuition Reduction for the Diocese of Scranton during an academic year may not receive a Marywood University graduate scholarship during that same academic year.

If a graduate scholarship recipient should need to withdraw from courses before the completion of a semester of study, Marywood University will recover institutional funds from the student in proportion to the percentage of tuition refunded for that semester. If the student decides to return to his or her studies in the future, he or she will be required to reapply for scholarship.
