In 1977, SEGi University Group (SEGi) was then known as Systematic College. Since then, we have been meeting the increasing demand for high academic and professional qualifications – resulting in a string of success in the academic field.
Today, the Group boasts an impressive number of young learners; as many as 27,500, in five major campuses located in the Klang Valley, Penang and Sarawak.
Location & Facilities
The RM300 million flagship campus is a hallmark of private higher education in the country. Strategically located at a 10-acre site at Kota Damansara, the purpose-built campus has academic library, research and recreational facilities, providing a complete learning experience for up to 12,000 students in this particular campus alone. The Group has 27,000 students in total.
If you would noticed that our flagship campus accen tuates a unique architecture, inspired by colonial and roman designs. The impressive layout promotes open spaces and many facilities that adds to conducive learning environment for you. You also get to enjoy a picturesque view of Lake Cova located opposite the campus.
As an e-campus, it’s only natural for our University to provide most of its learning materials online within an Internet and wireless environment. This means accessing the online library and tutorial is a click away

Student Residence Hall
The SEGi Residence Hall is located within the main campus so you get convenience and comfort. Students staying in the air-conditioned accommodation are provided with a bed, study table and chair, cupboard and fan. Shared facilities include television, lounge, toilets, cafeteria, convenience store and washing machines.
Private Accommodation
Private accommodation is also available for those who prefer to live off-campus. A list of private accommodation options can be obtained at the Student Service Centre. You may also wish to consult the classifieds section of the local newspaper for more choices. There is no set location for private accommodation. However, you are encouraged to live close to the campus. Private accommodation rental is paid directly to the landlord and accommodation options can vary between single, twin-sharing, partly furnished and fully furnished.
SEGi believes that the opportunity to maximise one’s potential through the fulfilment of studies should be available to students of all backgrounds. This can be achieved not only by nurturing and encouraging students in their studies but also by reaching out to those deserving individuals by offering a range of financial assistance options.
In 2013, full and partial scholarships, bursaries and contributions towards education funds were given out to deserving students who are academically inclined, needy and/or active in co-curricular activities to pursue tertiary education at any of the 5 SEGi campuses.

In order to gain admission to a Malaysian university, there are certain documents that need to be submitted by the students. The documents include a passport, letter of acceptance, academic transcripts and certificates, English language proficiency report, a health examination report, financial documents, a visa application form, a study plan or statement of purpose, passport-sized photographs, and additional documents if required.
The tuition fees for a Master's degree in Malaysia range from MYR 4,000 to 15,000 per year.
