Scholarships & Financial Aid for Indian Students

Trinity College Dublin recently announced a number of scholarships for Indian students during a tour of India that saw academics travel to five Indian cities where they met students interested in educational opportunities at Ireland’s leading university.  The Indian scholarships are being offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate level to high achieving students across a range of disciplines.

Undergraduate scholarships valued at €9,000 per year are being offered for four year full-time degree courses in the Faculties of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Engineering, Mathematics and Science.The offer holders can apply for scholarship via the ‘non-EU applicant’ link and also complete the Indian Scholarship application form at www.tcd.ie/study/India

Postgraduate scholarships are being offered in any of the University’s taught master programmes in the Faculties of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Engineering, Mathematics and Science and are valued at €3,000 each for one year.  Offer holders can contact their course director to request nomination for the Indian Scholarship award.

Scholarship application deadline for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses is 31st March 2014.
Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals and resident in India and eligible for overseas tuition fees (non EU).
  • Candidates must demonstrate academic ability and performance.  The scholarships will be competitively awarded based on the results in a relevant high school examination or undergraduate degree.
