    The initial location was founded in 1885 by James Washington Westervelt Sr., was named Westervelt College and became a pillar of education, hope and community, evolving throughout its many years. Anderson College, founded in 2011, quickly established itself as a leader, dedicated to student-centred education and academic excellence, building community relationships that pave the way for superior practicums – ensuring every graduate is confident and in demand. In 2022, Anderson College brought Westervelt under its banner, and is now one of the largest and oldest private career colleges in Canada

  • CANADA-ONTARIO JOB GRANT

    The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (C.O.J.G.) provides an opportunity for employers to invest in their workforce with help from the government. The Job Grant provides direct financial support to individual employers who wish to purchase training for their employees. It’s available to small, medium, and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees, and will:

    • Provide up to $10,000 in government support per person for training costs.
    • Require employers to contribute one-third of the total costs. There is additional flexibility for small businesses to provide an in-kind contribution towards their share of the costs.
    • Require training delivered by an eligible, third-party trainer.
