In order to apply for any of these scholarships, you must apply to Seton Hall University. However, you may apply for the scholarship prior to notification of admission.
Awarded selectively to incoming freshmen and incoming transfers who are the children, grandchildren or siblings of alumni. This scholarship is awarded based upon the student’s alumni connection, his/her total academic achievement, and his/her dedication to Seton Hall’s mission. Two renewable scholarships are awarded annually in the amount of $5,000 each.
The Catholic High School Achievement Award is a competitive scholarship awarded exclusively to incoming freshmen currently enrolled in a Catholic high school who have a minimum of an unweighted 3.0 GPA and a 1350 SAT (new) 1290 SAT two-score (old) or 29 on the ACT as well as a strong record of involvement in your high school, community or church. This $2,000 award is renewable for three additional years for a total award of $8,000 as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA and earns at least 30 credits annually. There is no application required for this scholarship; the scholarship is automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility requirements shortly after admission. Incoming freshman and incoming transfer students who hold permanent residence in Illinois, have at least a 3.0 GPA and an SAT composite two-score of 1100 (old) 1170 (new) or ACT composite score of 23. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need as demonstrated on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The completed application form and your application for admission must be received by the scholarship deadline. This scholarship is awarded for up to $1,000 and is not renewable.
Incoming freshman and incoming transfer students who hold permanent residence in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, North Dakota or South Dakota with at least a 3.0 GPA and an SAT composite two-score of 1100 (old) 1170 (new) or ACT composite score of 23. The completed application form and your application for admission must be received by the scholarship deadline. This award is a one-time award and is not renewable.
