Post University is a private for-profit university located in Waterbury, Connecticut. Even as a 125-year-old university, we’ve never clung to tradition. In fact, we’ve strived to adapt, evolve and reinvent the way we educate at each opportunity. Whether you pursue your degree on campus or online, you’ll see this philosophy in every aspect of the Post experience—from innovative online programs to a curriculum that anticipates the world’s needs, not just reacts to them. By constantly challenging how the world looks at education, we’ve stayed ahead of the curve so that you can, too.
Post University has a rich history of providing students with the skills they need to compete in the global marketplace. From Post's founding in 1890 as a business school to support the training and educational needs of the blossoming industries of central Connecticut, it has been an excellent choice for career-minded individuals.
A lot has changed since Post was founded in 1890. Then, our classrooms were filled with typewriters. Today, our classrooms are filled with laptop computers and smartphones, and reach far beyond our traditional campus -- to airplane seats and kitchen tables, living room sofas and home offices.
