With an average class size of 25-35 students and unique opportunities such as the Honors College and Living Learning Communities, students enjoy a small-school feel as well as all of the benefits of a large institution. George Mason University has three campuses in Northern Virginia and one in South Korea. The University's Prince William campus opened on August 25, 1997 in Manassas, Virginia.More than 4,000 students are enrolled in classes in bioinformatics, biotechnology, computer and information technology and forensic biosciences educational and research programs.
