2006 The Gillingham Building, housing additional teaching and IT facilities, and the Pilkington Building, providing teaching facilities and student social space, open at Medway.
2005 The first students are welcomed to the new Medway campus at Chatham Maritime, and Kent's first buildings at the new Medway campus are completed.

Location & Facilities
Canterbury
A friendly and vibrant campus with an excellent social life and superb facilities. Within walking distance of the city, it offers green and tranquil open spaces, lively cafes and bars and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
We aim to offer accommodation to all eligible new full-time undergraduate students for the first year on a bed and bistro, bed and breakfast or self-catered basis.
Postgraduate students are offered self-catering accommodation at Woolf College - a new development offering en suite bedrooms in flats or studios.
All of the bedrooms are single occupancy and most are ensuite. All bedrooms include free internet links, utility costs and basic contents insurance.
Medway
A new campus in a great location near the redeveloped dockside, with amazing buildings, first-class cafes, its own pub, a buzzing social life and a great sense of community.

Brussels
Kent is the only UK University with a campus in Brussels, 'the capital of Europe'. The University of Kent at Brussels offers postgraduate degrees taught in English.
The University of Kent at Brussels has its own newly acquired and purpose-designed facilities, a 15-minute drive from the centre of Brussels and close to a metro station, a train station and regular bus and tram services.
Support and services
There are approximately 11,000 students at the Canterbury campus, including undergraduates and postgraduates, plus lecturers, research staff, members of the local community and overseas students on a year abroad. All students have access to our first-class facilities and the wide range of services and support provided by the University and Kent Union.

- Free wireless access to the internet and Kent network from hotspots across campus, and a wired connection from each student bedroom
- A mobile app, as well as the online Student Portal and Virtual Learning Environment that support your university life with personalised timetables, course information, and events relevant to you
