Post-study, Australia allows students to stay in the country for 2 years who completed their Bachelor's or Master's degree but students who achieved their Research Master's degree and Ph.D. can stay for 3 and 4 years respectively. Students who have successfully achieved their degree in Canada can apply for the Post-Graduation Work Permit. This way students are allowed to live in the country for 3 years and apply for Permanent Residency. Countries like the UK and the US have 2 years stay-back policy. In the US, students can convert their visas to work visas during the stay back policy. Earlier the UK had put a stop to 2 years stay back policy but now they have resumed this policy to help international students to seek employment in the UK.
