Processing fees for the student visa to Singapore from India will be around USD 21, and for SOLAR submissions, payment must be made with debit/credit cards or online banking. Every student permit must also be issued for USD 44, and there is an additional USD 21 visa cost (multiple entries). Documents Required for Singapore Study Visa

For Indian students, there are a number of Singapore student visa requirements. The required documents are listed below:

  3. Duly filled ICA Forms 16 and V36.
  4. 2 passport-sized photographs

  6. FD receipts if applicable
  7. Bank statement and evidence of funds which should be more than USD 6111.74 in addition to the tuition fees.
  8. A letter of sanctioned loan from the bank
  9. Academic transcripts
  10. Test results prove a candidate’s command of the English language. Relevant examinations include GRE, and GMAT.


Duration and Eligibility of a Singapore study visa

Universities or colleges in Singapore are referred to as IHLs (Institutes of Higher Learning), while student visas are referred to as Student Passes. International students must apply for this permit, which will be sent to the SOLAR network, the nation's official registration system. For people under the age of 19 who want to enroll in private educational institutions, applications are processed directly by the ICA (Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority). Students over the age of 20 who want to enroll in commercial, vocational, fine arts, or language courses may need to first attend interviews.

A valid passport is required, along with identification documentation, passport-size photos, printed versions of forms 16 and 36 submitted through SOLAR, and a letter of acceptance from an accredited Singaporean institution.

Along with evidence of funding, a statement of purpose (SOP), academic qualifications, and certifications, the receipt for the visa fee payment are also necessary. The visa's validity period is two years.

Singapore Student Visa Application Process

The application for a student pass should be submitted at least one month before the start of the course. The SOLAR (Student's Pass On-Line Application & Registration) system should be used to submit applications. The following steps are to be followed:

  1. The institution should first register the student via SOLAR with facts such as name, nationality, gender, and date of birth, as well as the start and finish dates, specifics, and reference number for the SOLAR application.
  2. For eForm 16 submissions, the student must log into the SOLAR system. They should include their registration acknowledgement letter from the universities, login information, passport information, a current colour photo (sized for a passport), email address, and other similar information.
  3. They will print a copy of the eForm after submitting it
  4. The procedure will be completed after Singapore student visa application fees have been paid.
