Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships (CWIT) :

The perks of Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships offered to Indian students includes visiting fellowships in particular fields of study at institutions; bursaries for Doctoral study and research as well as permission to attend the Scottish Universities Summer School. Students wishing to study in UK should apply for this scholarship before the end of December each year.

Offered by the British Council, Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships is one of the major scholarships offered for Indian students desiring to study in UK. In UK, this scholarship consists of 10 long-term awards in the Visual Arts and Heritage Conservation field for courses with a duration of one-year.

Indian Students Applying for this Scholarship : Eligibility Criteria

  • The student should be between the age group of 25-38 years.
  • He/she should hold a Graduate degree, a diploma or certification in their chosen study field.

Felix Scholarships :

Felix Scholarships includes tuition fees as well as extra funds amounting to GBP 78,840 i.e. 76,74,304 in Indian Rupees. One desiring to pursue higher studies in the UK should apply for this scholarship before the deadline date- January 31st.

Aiming to provide underprivileged students educational opportunities in order to continue pursuing their postgraduate courses in the country, Felix Scholarships are available for these underprivileged students in India aa well as other developing countries. Felix Scholarships in UK began with the humble beginning of 6 awards offered in 1991-1992. This however, has now risen up to 20 scholarships per annum and a total of 428 students have received this meritorious scholarship till date.

Indian Students Applying for this Scholarship : Eligibility Criteria

  • He/she should be below 30 years of age.

  • The candidate should be Indian and should currently not be studying/living outside India.

  • A full-time postgraduate program with any of the affiliated universities in UK must be applied for by underprivileged candidates.

  • Upon completing his/her post-graduation, the candidate should return to work in their home country.

Indian Students Applying for this Scholarship : Eligibility Criteria

  • The student should possess a Bachelor's degree and work experience of two years as a mandatory requirement.

  • The applicant should apply for at least three courses in UK and must also have an offer from any of the applied courses.

  • The English requirements of Chevening must be fulfilled along with the UK university's English proficiency criteria.

  • The student should show his/her English Proficiency Test Scores.

Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan :

Tuition fees, travel air fares and other miscellaneous allowances are covered by this scholarship. One should apply for this scholarship before the 30th of October each year.

Commonwealth Scholarships in UK are one of the highly acclaimed scholarships with the governments of 53 Commonwealth Countries conferring scholarship rewards to the candidates from the Commonwealth Nations. This scholarship was first established in 1959 in the country. Till date, more than 30,000 students in UK have been granted this meritorious scholarship.

Indian Students Applying for this Scholarship : Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates eligible for this scholarship should be below the age of 40 years and must be an Indian resident.
  • Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted for the scholarship need to appear for a personal interview in New Delhi.
