King's has four Thames-side campuses (Strand, Waterloo, Guy's, St Thomas') within a single square mile in the heart of London, together with the Institute of Psychiatry and some of the rest of the College's biomedical research and teaching at the Denmark Hill Campus in south London. Information Services Centers and libraries are located at all campuses and provide access to the key services and resources that support teaching, learning and research.

King's offers a range of accommodation to suit the varied needs of students. Most first-year students live in College residences or the University of London's intercollegiate residences whilst others live in shared student houses or rented flats. The majorities of King's residences are in central London, and most are close to King's teaching campuses.

King's College London Students' Union (KCLSU) provides representation, encourages participation and offers personal development opportunities to students throughout their time at Kings.

King's College London General Intake

Undergraduate courses run from September to June with most BA/BSc's lasting three years. Masters courses normally run from September to September and are usually a year if they are undertaken on a full time basis or two years part-time.

As well as offering a wide range of pre-sessional, foundation and pre-master's programmes, once you start your degree at King's you can take advantage of the free study skills and language support offered by the English Language Centre (ELC) for all students. All in-sessional and study skills courses are free for King's College students and are open to both native and non-native speakers.

When you start at King's you will also be allocated a Personal tutor who is an academic within your Department who you can speak to about concerns that you may have.
