Based in London in the UK, University of the Arts London is a world-leading institution for teaching and research in arts, design, fashion, communication and the performing arts. It is also the largest specialist arts and design institution in Europe. The six distinctive Colleges that make up the University are at the forefront of education in their specialist disciplines. Of the 19,000 students enrolled at the University, around 40% come from outside the UK. This makes the University a vibrant and inspiring place to learn. It is a truly 'global University' in every sense of the word.
Location & Facilities
University of the Arts London is located in UK's Capital London, one of the world's most innovative, cosmopolitan and exciting cities. The sites of the University's six Colleges are spread out across London and are easily accessible to students residing in any part of the city thanks to the excellent public transport system. In September 2011, the University opened a landmark building in the heart of London, which is the brand new campus for Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design.
The University offers a lot of support to international students to help them get the most out of life in the UK, from help with housing and career planning to guidance on health, immigration and money matters.
The dedicated 'Housing Services' team helps students organise their accommodation in London, either in rented private accommodation or in one of the University's 13 halls of residence.
The Student Enterprise and Employability Service (SEE) is the University's dedicated employment service, which helps students to develop the skills they need for successful careers in arts and design.
Other student support offered by the University includes a 'Student Advice Service' for guidance on many issues from immigration to money matters, and a 'Health and Wellbeing' service to help students maintain their physical and mental health during their studies. The University's dedicated 'Language Centre' provides students with courses in English and other languages to supplement their degree studies.

University of the Arts London offers a number of scholarships to international students. There are different scholarships available depending on the chosen College and the level of study.
Most of the University's degree courses start in September each year, except for a few courses that start in January. In addition, the University offers short courses that run throughout the year and some of these also have multiple start dates.
