We aim to offer accommodation to all eligible new full-time undergraduate students for the first year on a bed and bistro, bed and breakfast or self-catered basis.
Postgraduate students are offered self-catering accommodation at Woolf College - a new development offering en suite bedrooms in flats or studios.
All of the bedrooms are single occupancy and most are ensuite. All bedrooms include free internet links, utility costs and basic contents insurance.

There are approximately 11,000 students at the Canterbury campus, including undergraduates and postgraduates, plus lecturers, research staff, members of the local community and overseas students on a year abroad.

In 2012 the University of Kent is offering a scholarship of £2,000 per annum to all students who have attained AAA over three A levels or specified equivalent qualifications.
Partner scholarships are offered by the University to encourage local students to continue in Higher Education and are available to pupils from Partner schools and colleges.
In addition to the Kent Scholarship for Academic Excellence and Partner Scholarships, there are other undergraduate scholarships offered for 2012.
