Scholarships

Alumni Scholarship

Eligibility All UK, EU and international alumni holding a full undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification and those who studied here on an exchange/study abroad programme who wish to return to the University of Roehampton to take a higher programme of study.
Exemptions:
Undergraduates moving onto a PGCE course.
All alumni from short courses including Pre-sessional, International Foundation Certificate, pre masters certificate, Foundation Degree, CPD.
This discount is not available in conjunction with the VC's scholarship for international students and would be given instead of the VC Scholarship (currently £1,000 and £1,500).

Amount

20% tuition fee discount.

Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship Scheme

All eligible undergraduate students from outside the UK or EU who achieve qualifications on entry meeting the criteria outlined on the table below will receive a substantial award from the Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship Scheme.

Eligibility Undergraduate students applying for a full Bachelors degree from outside the UK or EU who fulfil the criteria listed below. Study abroad and exchange students are not eligible.

Eligibility Undergraduate and postgraduate students applying via our partners Across the Pond (AtP) Norway for full degree courses taught on campus. Applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria below. Study abroad and exchange students are not eligible. Home/EU fee paying students are not eligible.

Santander Scholarships
The University of Roehampton is part of the Santander Universities Network and Santander Bank provides a range of Scholarships.

Eligibility New and existing international students from the Spanish-speaking countries, or a University within the Santander Universidades†† network within Ibero-America. Applicants must be enrolling in a programme which is taught on campus.
Amount To be confirmed.
Application Invitation for applications will be published as soon as details of new awards are made available.
Combinations The scholarships can only be combined with the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship.

 

 Roehampton Music Scholarship

The University of Roehampton offer music scholarships to enable undergraduate and postgraduate students meet some of the costs of developing their talents through lessons, courses, or the purchase of relevant equipment (instruments/strings/sheet music etc.). In return, music scholars enhance the cultural life of the University through performances and enrich their colleges by being available for events chosen by College Heads.

Eligibility The scholarships are open to all full-time Roehampton students from all disciplines.
The successful candidates have to:
– Support the promotion of music at Roehampton;
– Collaborate with other musicians at Roehampton;
– Be willing to perform each term at Roehampton, both at fixed events in their respective colleges and for events in the University calendar (exclude those on extended study abroad).
Applicants must be enrolling in a programme which is taught on campus.
Amount Up to £1200 cash award.
Application - A statement detailing why you should be considered and what the funds will be used for;
- CV outlining your musical experience to date;
- An audition (instrument/voice).
Combinations This scholarship can only be combined with Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship.

 

 

Scholarship for Sporting Excellence
The University is dedicated to giving its students the opportunity to play sports at all levels. We recognise the difficulties students encounter trying to balance academic studies with training and competition schedules. Alongside the scholarship, we offer a support network designed to encourage talented sports men and women to meet their full potential in their academic studies, as well as their chosen sport.

Eligibility The scholarships are open to all full-time Roehampton students. Applicants must be enrolling in a programme which is taught on campus.
Amount – The scholarships range from £500 - £1500 per year of study.
– Additional support to help you to manage your academic studies with your sporting activities.
– ROEActive gym membership.
