All our programmes are accredited by the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM). The ICM was founded in 1979 and is an examining and awarding body for business and management students. It is accredited by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), the UK regulatory body. Malaga College is the only institution in Spain to be accredited by the ICM.

Location & Facilities

UMA is divided into two campuses in Málaga. In turn, some of the University's activities are carried out in other strategic locations throughout the city and province; thus, this network of knowledge is present in key points such as the city's business centre, Andalusia's Technology Park, and in other cities such as Ronda and Antequera.

Situated below the Alcazaba and opposite the Park and Port of Malaga is the Recorate's Building. Due to its cultural and architectural values, this building constitutes a cultural, social, and academic reference at the city centre. Moreover, the School of Health Sciences, the Centre of Spanish for Speakers of Other Languages, the Provincial Council's subsidised Nursing School, and the Grice-Hutchinson Experimental Centre are also located in the city.

Facilities:
Homestay is a form of accomodation that allows visitors to rent rooms with local families. It is sometimes used by people who wish to improve their language skills and become familiar with the local lifestyle.

Home Stay
Self-catered- students have their own bedroom and use of a bathroom & kitchen to prepare their own meals and cook for themselves.
Bed and breakfast- students are provided with breakfast by the host family. This will generally consist of the choice of cereal, toast, fruit, tea and coffee.
Half board– Students are provided with breakfast and an evening meal by the host family. A suitable time for dinner should be agreed between the student and the host family, and you should let your host family know in advance if you won’t be home for dinner, or would like dinner to be saved for you to eat if you will be late one evening.

Shared Housing
Shared housing is where a group of students rent a property and share the rent and bills between them. There are many shared houses or apartments to rent in and around Fuengirola & San Pedro. You can also rent your own property without friends or flatmates.

The bills remain the student’s responsibility at all times.
The college can provide all prospective students with a list of home stay and shared housing options, however, the college has not visited any of these properties and any arrangement made, is between the student, host family/ agent or property owner.
