University College Of Fraser Valley

Overview

The university of Fraser valley is located at the east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada .It is fully accredited, public university enrolling more than 14,000 students per year. In 2010, GLOBE & MAIL CANADIAN UNIVERSITY REPORT , UFV  earned the most As and A+s than any private university in the state  for satisfied students, quality of education and teaching  and in class size respectively.

UFV tied with Vancouver Island University for top spot among public universities in BC in all size categories.

UFV offers 15 bachelors degrees, one applied masters degree ,  and more than 80 certificates and diploma programs in applied and academic areas. , including trades.

The university believes  that anyone who wants to go to university should be given a fair chance, so the  admission policies are flexible, and students are  provided  university prep courses and high school completion for those who aren't quite ready. Students can learn in a variety of ways: full-time, part-time, in-class, online, as part of a structured program or one tailored completely to their interests.

Many of the  programs “ladder” into one another, allowing students to keep their options open by earning a one-year certificate and/or a two-year diploma on the way to completing a full degree. Others offer a co-operative education option, where students can combine study with supervised, professional, paid, work experience. The university’s thriving international programming makes for a culturally diverse student community and great opportunities to study abroad . Our continuing studies and academic upgrading offerings make learning a lifelong experience. Many clubs, events, and activities enhance student life on campus and the  award-winning Cascades  athletics teams are highly competitive.
