Scholarships are a great way to help fund your college education. Whether you are pursuing a degree, certificate, or are looking to transfer there are scholarships out there for you – you just need to apply. There are literally thousands of scholarships; the list of websites below can help you search for them. And the great thing about scholarships is they don't need to be repaid! They are free money for you to use to pay for school.
If you visit the Transfer and Career Center, you can browse through our scholarship binders which hold information on many different scholarships a community college student may be eligible for. You can also get assistance with filling out scholarship applications.
UC and CSU Scholarships:
Middle Class Scholarship provides undergraduate students with family incomes up to 150,000 dollars a scholarship to attend University of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) campuses.
UC's Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan makes it so that you will not have to pay UC's systemwide tuition and fees if you are a California resident whose total family income is less than $80,000 a year and you qualify for financial aid.
To qualify for either of these scholarship, file your FAFSA or California Dream Act Application by the priority filing deadline of March 2nd.
