About The
City |
|
|
UNITEC is a great environment to study in. The campus is
attractive, modern and set in green, park-like grounds.
Good transport services are available as well as plenty
of parking on-campus. As well as great facilities and
services, there are plenty of ways for students to meet
and have fun.
Over a million people call Auckland
home, and their lifestyles and cultural backgrounds are
reflected in the cuisine, ethnic festivals and markets,
cafes and nightlife, and in the arts, screen and
entertainment industries. You can enjoy comedy, dance, contemporary and classical
music, mainstream and fringe theatre, film and art
galleries. Large-scale outdoor performances ranging from
rock music to opera are also a feature of the city.
If sport is your thing, the city boasts opportunities to
play or watch anything from Tai Chi to tennis, rowing to
rugby, or you can easily get away from the city and go
bush or get to the surf beaches. |
