Unitec Residential
Village
If you're wondering where to stay while you
study, check out the Unitec Residential Village,
a complex of separate self-contained apartments.
The Village is made up of Buildings 1510 and
310. Building 310 is located right on the Mt
Albert campus, and a short walkway connects it
with Building 1510.
Each apartment has between one and five
bedrooms, and is comfortably furnished with a
lounge suite, coffee table, dining table and
chairs. Bedrooms come complete with a king
single bed, chair, desk, wardrobe, shelves,
noticeboards and curtains. A telephone point for
personal or modem connection is provided
(connection and line rental costs apply).
There is a well-equipped kitchen in each
apartment with a cooktop and oven,
fridge/freezer, microwave and storage space.
Basic cutlery, crockery and a vacuum cleaner are
also supplied.
You will need to bring your own bedding, and are
responsible for your own meals and laundry.
Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are
available in the Village's two laundry rooms.
The Village is permanently staffed and Unitec
operates its own security patrols in and around
campus at all times.
From 2006, your rent includes the first $100.00
of power charges per apartment per semester and
if you stay at the Village for at least one
semester you will be provided with free gym
membership at the well-equipped Unitec Sports
Centre.
