International Accommodation

The
University's accommodation has been developed as a Campus
Village, right in the heart of the city. Over 1,440 students
live there and a further 500 live in University accommodation
within close walking distance of the campus, much of it in the
fashionable Merchant City. The Jordanhill Campus has its own
halls of residence on site. These provide a fully-catered
accommodation service for 139 students.
Living in the Residence
All
residences offer an independent lifestyle where you retain your
privacy but still have the companionship of others if you wish.
Student Assistants are always on call to help. There are
opportunities to join in social events, ranging from traditional
Scottish celebrations to international events which reflect the
cosmopolitan flavour of the residences.
Telephone and Data Points
There
are telephone handsets in every study bedrooms in all halls of
residence. A communication service, provided by ntl, enables
students to make and receive telephone calls plus provides an
optional voicemail service. There are also data points in every
study bedroom so that students can access the University's
cental computing facilities, including teaching and learning
resources, Internet access and e-mail facilities.
