Most of the students live in
an area of roughly 4 square miles – private housing and
the Halls of Residence are all in the same area and very
close to University buildings.

The main Guildhall Campus
is situated on the west side of Portsea Island, close to
the City Centre.
Southsea, Portsmouth's
seaside resort, offers four miles of coastline flanked by
open spaces, parks and gardens. Most of the students live
here in shared private rented accomodation within 2 miles
of the University. Another popular area is Fratton, which
has its own train station.
If you like pubs or clubs,
you'll be spoilt for choice on Southsea seafront and
Gunwharf Quay's where there is a thriving live music and
comedy scene to suit all tastes.
To the east of Portsmouth
you will find Milton, this is where the Langstone Student
Village is based, with it's views of Langstone Harbour.
Langstone Student Village has its own sports
facilities, bar and refectory. The University operates a
free bus service between Langstone Student Village and
the Guildhall Campus during term time, between 8am-11pm.
