Oxford College serves the people
of Oxfordshire and beyond. It is an international learning
community with students attending college from countries all
over the world. Out main purpose is to create learning
opportunities so individuals can enjoy success in their
studies, careers and lifestyle.

The College provides a campus
environment where people can study, relax and participate in a
range of social activities that make up College life. All the
facilities of a modern college are provided and students enjoy
the bonus of being located in the heart of the special historic
city of Oxford. A second campus at Blackbird Leys replicates
many of the facilities of the City Centre campus and a bus
service regularly connects the college's two sites.
The College provides modern building and well equipped technical
facilities so that students can pursue their chosen academic or
vocational programmes. Oxford college is the largest College in
the county and is host to over 2000 full-time students and
14,000 part-time learners.
The College provides a range of shops, vending machines, cafes,
refectories and restaurants so that you can obtain food and
refreshment on campus throughout the day.Students have access to Libraries and Learning Centres which
connect students to information via books, journals, newspapers,
tapes, video and the internet. The College also boasts a drop in
Language Centre
utilising the latest flexible learning materials.
A Computing Centre is open daily offering students access to
modern computer hardware on an extensive range of software and
peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.
There are Nurseries on both campuses which enable parents with
young children from 4 months to 5 years to concentrate on their
studies.

A full range of Student Services provision is available
including careers guidance, university applications assistance,
an accommodation service, financial assistance, travel
bursaries, and
student counselling.
Help is provided by the Study Centre for anyone
needing extra help with Maths or English.
Assistance is also provided for people with Learning
Difficulties and Disabilities. Support is offered to students
with visual and hearing impairment, physical impairment,
learning difficulties, educational and behavioural problems and
health problems.
The College's students also
provide a range of services made possible by the vocational
nature of their courses. During the academic year you can expect

The Student
Union enjoys its own premises "The Pen" which is
equipped with sound system and bar. The "Union" play
an active role in the social life of the College organising
sports, excursions, charity events, gigs and parties. |
