If you are applying to Oxford College from outside the United Kingdom, you will not be required to attend an interview. It is therefore important that you follow the procedure described below so your application is efficiently processed.

Step 1

Before applying for a specific course check that:

• It will be acceptable when applying for a Student Visa
   
• You have the necessary qualifications to be accepted on to the course. The required UK qualifications are listed in the entry for each course.

If you are unsure whether your qualifications are equivalent to those stated, the best place to find out would normally be the British Council in your country or contact Oxford College directly for advice.

Step 2
Apply early. The majority of our courses start in September and late entry is not possible after the first week in October. It can take quite a long time for the paperwork, particularly that relating to a Student Visa application, to be processed.

Step 3
Obtain a copy of our application form by:

• Printing off the on-line form from this web site. It is not advisable to complete the form on-line as you will need to send other documents with it.

Step 4
Complete the form as thoroughly as possible. Send it to:

Step 5
Your application form must be accompanied by:

• The appropriate tuition fee
• Copies of your educational qualifications (do not send the originals, although we will need to see these when you start the course)
• The names of two people who are able to comment accurately on your educational abilities and personal qualities.

Once we have received your application form and the accompanying documentation the tutor for your chosen course will be able to decide whether you can be accepted.

You will then be sent a final acceptance letter, a certificate of acceptance and your joining instructions. We normally make a response to an application within 14 days.

Step 6

Your letter of acceptance and your certificate of acceptance should be submitted with your visa application (if required). Visas often take 1 – 2 months to process.

Step 7

Inform Oxford College that you have obtained your visa and the date of your arrival. Book your airfare and confirm your accommodation booking.
