Accommodation

Accommodation is provided for you in single rooms on either a dinner, bed and breakfast or self-catering basis in carefully selected local family homes.

Arrangements can also be made with local colleges and Universities for short-term lettings of rooms on campus sites close to the city centre, when available.

Students speaking the same language will not be placed in the same home, except under special circumstances.

As demand for accommodation in Oxford is high, students are asked to apply early to guarantee a place. You pay a small administrative fee together with an accommodation deposit. You may of course make your own arrangements. If you require further information please contact the Accommodations Officer.

Costs

Costs vary according to the accommodation requested but students need to expect to pay a minimum of £110 per week for bed and breakfast. Larger rooms with extra services such as an evening meal and weekend food may increase the cost to as much as £120 per week. A deposit of £250 (absorbed into total cost) will need to be made if Accommodation is to be secured and guaranteed.
