Life at
Northumbria
As an international
student you will be encouraged to play a full part in
student life as organized by British and Overseas
Students. There is a full range of multicultural and
multilingual activities and social events.
Students in Britain for the first time may welcome the
help with English Language, money, climate, transport and
the change of culture. It does the very best to reduce
common problems and to help individual students with
personal worries. The Director of Student Services and his
team will help put you in touch with accommodation
services, can offer counselling and can help with
religious observance. Specialist advice on how to make the
most of your existing qualifications in planning your
course at Northumbria is available from the International
Office.

Alternatively, if you visit the British Council's Virtual

information about every aspect of studying in the United
Kingdom.
To help with all these matters it has published a special
guide for international students - for a copy please
contact the International Office. |
