As a multi-site university Napier is well integrated
into Edinburgh city life. Their main campuses are easily

the capital, particularly in the heavily student-populated
areas of Bruntsfield, Morningside and Tollcross.

at the Craig Lockhart campus.

would expect from the city which hosts the world's largest
international arts festival, Edinburgh offers numerous
cinemas, theatres, restaurants and bars, as well as shops
catering for international speciality foods.
Finding a safe and suitable place to live is extremely
important, particularly if you are new to Edinburgh.
The university offers assistance to international students in
order to help them find the right accommodation and settle in.
You can choose between living in University owned flats or in
private sector accommodation.
University accommodation can be guaranteed if the application
and deposit payment are received before the third week in
August prior to the start of your course.
Please note that Napier regret that University accommodation
is not available to students starting their programme of study
in February. However, Student Accommodation will be able to
assist and advise students on seeking private sector
accommodation.
Living in University flats is a great way to get to know other
students when you first come to Edinburgh. However, if you
choose not to live in their accommodation, you will find a
wide range of alternative accommodation in the city. Staff in
Student Accommodation will be able to assist you.
The Student Accommodation Department exists as a service to
help all students establish a ‘home from home’ where you can
study and live while you are at Napier. Napier University is
committed to providing student with a first class information
and advice service on all matters concerning residential
accommodation. |
