Middlesex University's academic heritage can be traced back over
a hundred years to the nineteenth century origins of its
founding colleges. Today it has a reputation as a modern,
innovative institution offering an extensive range of
undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as opportunities
for year-long semester and summer programmes (including
internship programmes).
A truly international institution, Middlesex attracts 2,500
students from more than 100 countries and has partnerships with
over 250 institutions worldwide. While this diversity and size
makes Middlesex one of the largest universities in the UK, each
of its seven campuses is small enough to be friendly and
welcoming. Courses are credit-rated and taught in semesters. The
flexible modular academic structure means students can choose a
specialist study programme to satisfy the requirements of a
professional body, or devise their own major/minor combinations
to suit personal interests and aspirations.
Likewise students transferring from other institutions of higher
education receive full credit for appropriate studies. |
