Middlesex University
has thirteen separate halls of residence with a total of 2,400
rooms. Priority for places is given to those students coming to
Middlesex University for the first time, in particular overseas
students.
The University holds
an orientation course Introducing Britain at the start of each
semester. There is a full range of student support services
including campus health centers, counselors and housing advisers
and an International Student Officer.
The Students' Union
provides all students with an opportunity to relax in a social
environment, to join sports clubs and cultural societies and
take part in a wide variety of organized entertainment.
Facilities
Each campus has a
learning resource centre providing computing, language, and
library and media services. There is a variety of sporting
facilities across the University including sports halls, indoor
tennis courts, swimming pools, fitness rooms, Astroturf pitch
and playing fields.
The chaplains
operate on an ecumenical basis, offering pastoral care and
support to all, irrespective of religious faith. They also
provide links outside the University with different religious
communities and other helping agencies.
All campuses are
within walking distance of local shops, and banks and other
community facilities.
