Scholarships and financial
assistance:
Massey University does not have financial assistance or
scholarships available for undergraduate International
students.
There are however a limited number of partial
scholarships available for doctoral candidates.
Applications for these scholarships close on 1 July and
1 October each year. Application forms are available
Commonwealth Scholarships:
The New Zealand Vice-chancellors' Committee offers a
limited number of scholarships to graduates of other
Commonwealth countries under the Commonwealth
Scholarship and Fellowship Plan. Contact the Massey
University Scholarships Office for details (address
above).
New Zealand Agency for International Development
NZAID Study Awards:
These are fully funded scholarships provided by the New
Zealand Government under its bilateral aid programme for
selected students from developing countries. Students
must be nominated by their home governments
NZAID Postgraduate Scholarships:
These are fully funded scholarships for students from
selected developing countries, administered by Massey
University on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and Trade. The scholarship does not include English
language training and is awarded on the basis of
academic merit, developmental relevance of the
qualification to the home country, gender, and regional
representation. Application forms are available from the
International Students' Office, Massey University.
Applications close on 31 July each year.

What you need to attach to your application form:
Please make sure the following pieces of information are
attached to your completed application form.
NOTE: Any documents that are missing could delay
acceptance of your application until they are received
in
Massey International Students' Office :
officially certified true copies of your original
academic transcripts and certificates
an official English language translation of the above
documents, where necessary
the grade assessment schedule used for each
course/institution
information describing the structure and content of the
courses undertaken if you are applying for credit
official evidence of a name change (e.g. deed poll or
marriage certificate) if you have changed your name
since gaining your qualifications
If you are an undergraduate student and you apply for
credit (from an incomplete qualification) or
cross-credit/advanced standing (from a completed
qualification) towards a Massey University degree, you
will be notified by letter from the appropriate College.
