Accommodation is a high priority in the minds of all students and especially for those leaving home for the first time. The Accommodation team aims to make the transition from home to higher education as easy as possible. Living in halls provides a wealth of opportunity for social contact outside your academic discipline, a sense of belonging to and participating in a community. Halls have remained a popular choice of accommodation, especially with the first year and overseas students. The demand for Hope accommodation thus remains high.

Hope offers a range of catered accommodation at Hope Park, with self-catering at Hope at Everton and Aigburth Park. Accommodation is also available to international students during the vacation periods. The Accommodation team co-ordinates the campus residential provision of the College and aims to accommodate all first year students who request residence at any of the three locations and those continuing students wishing to remain in student accommodation.

The halls of residence are supervised and Senior Residents/Duty Tutors are available each evening in the event of emergencies that may occur. They either live within the halls or in staff accommodation close by. Some study bedrooms are strictly no smoking zones. Even in the halls where smoking is permitted, it is restricted to the study bedrooms only.

A quantity of accommodation is reserved for female students who might wish to live in a 'female only' hall. If this is a particular requirement the student should state this on their application form for residence.
