How To Apply (Graduate Programs)

How To Apply For Graduates Programs.
MBA Admissions
Admission to the MBA program is selective. Applications are considered on an individual basis. Students are strongly encouraged to visit the campus before submitting their formal application. A general admission guideline is that the MBA program is open to persons who have earned a four-year US Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution of higher learning.

Candidates for admission to the MBA degree program must submit:

  • Completed application form and application fee
  • Official transcripts covering all previous university/college courses, and other academic and professional certificates and diplomas.
  • Two letters of recommendation from persons who have directly supervised the applicant's academic studies or employment.
  • Two letters of recommendation from persons who have directly supervised the applicant's academic studies or employment.
MBA Transfer Credit
Credit towards the Huron MBA degree may be granted for graduate courses completed at other recognized institutions. Courses requested for transfer must directly satisfy the MBA degree requirements, and be approved by the Director of the MBA program. A maximum of 18 500-level semester hours and 12 600-level semester hours may be accepted as transfer credit, with the last 24 semester hours or eight courses to be taken at Huron.`

MA in International Relations Admissions
The MA in International Relations is appropriate for two types of people. The first are young international professionals and recent graduates in the Humanities or Social Sciences who wish to develop a quality professional qualification in International Relations. The second are mid-career professionals, junior diplomats or other practitioners, seeking a part-time degree program which will help them in their work.

Thus the program does not have rigid criteria for admission other than a TOEFL score of 550 (213 CAT) (or evidence of equivalent fluency in English) and a Bachelor's Degree with a CGPA of 3.0 (or evidence of equivalent performance at undergraduate level). Through the essays required in the application process and interview, students should demonstrate: a commitment to the field; an understanding of their objectives in the program; a degree of maturity and drive which will allow them to complete the program's requirements successfully.
