Life at HIBT
HIBT
takes the welfare of the students very seriously. It also encourage
the students to have fu n
when they are not studying and organise events
and trips to help achieve this so their overall memories upon
completion of studies with HIBT are happy ones.
Hatfield is
only a 25 minute train ride from central London giving HIBT students
easy access to all the attractions of the UK's cosmopolitan capital
city.
London is
famous for its museums, the theatres of the west end, nightlife,
restaurants and sporting events such as premiership football at
Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Fulham football clubs.
The town
of Hatfield has excellent, shopping and recreational facilities
and good transport links to the rest of the UK. It is a
cosmopolitan multiracial town with cafes, bars and restaurants
to cater for all tastes. There is also a 9 screen cinema
multiplex. Hatfield is surrounded by the beautiful countryside
of the county of Hertfordshire.
HIBT
organises social and sporting events to keep the students
entertained and help encourage students to mix with each other
outside the classroom. It has organised parties and also day
trips to places such as Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford, Bath and
other parts of the UK to help students feel they are fully
experiencing British culture. Group outings to International
sporting events such as the tennis at Wimbledon are also
arranged.
It
arranges student sports competitions in football, basketball,
tennis and cricket making use of the university's excellent
sporting facilities.
Hatfield
is in easy reach of all London's major airports. Heathrow is
only 40 minutes away. HIBT arranges for all the new students to
be collected from the airport upon arrival in the UK.
UH
operates a university bus service, offering cheap travel to
students throughout the Hertfordshire region and into London.
