The University of Greenwich has around 500 students from
India studying foundation, undergraduate (bachelor)
degree, and postgraduate (masters) degree programmes.
To join the programmes you will need to meet both
academic and English language entry requirements before
you start the programme. You need not wait until you
satisfy all the entry requirements before you apply to
study with us.
For entry to Year 1 of three year bachelor degree
programmes, you will need to have successfully completed
and passed Standard X and Standard XII with an average of
60% in five subjects, and have IELTS of 6.0.
Advanced standing to Year 2 is possible if you have
completed year one of a relevant degree in India or to
year three of some degrees if you have completed the first
two years of a relevant degree in India. You will need
IELTS of 6.0.
For entry to the masters programmes, you will need to
have an IELTS of 6.0 or TOEFL of 550 (or 213 cbt) and to
have a three year degree from India with a minimum average
of 60%.
Certain programmes have special requirements. For
example, applicants for the MBA programmes must have two
to three years full time management work experience after
graduation at an appropriate level; and those for
architecture need to submit a portfolio of their work.
