If you do not
immediately fulfil the entry requirements (such as
language, or if you have less than thirteen years of
education) for a three year degree programme, you will
normally be considered for alternatives such as:

Four year extended
degree programmes such as in combined studies;
computer systems with software engineering, or
computer networking; mechanical, manufacturing
systems engineering, industrial automation or
mechatronics; electronic, electrical, or electrical
and electronic engineering; civil engineering;
environmental science geography and GIS
You may be offered
the International Foundation Programmes if you have
IELTS of between 4.5 and 6 (you will take classes to
achieve a IELTS of 6, as well as studying academic
subjects) or if you already have an IELTS of 6 but you
need to study academic subjects to prepare you for the
degree programmes.
There is also the
International Foundation Programme (Advanced) for
degree holders who wish to prepare themselves for
study at postgraduate level as well as achieving the
equivalent of IELTS of 6.5
If you have IELTS of
5 or 5.5 or 6, you may need to follow an eight week,
four week or two week Summer pre-sessional English
course on campus. |
