In 2000, Glamorgan students won four of the six Welsh
Development Agency student technology prizes, received
rave reviews for their productions at the Edinburgh Fringe
Festival and broadcast live on Radio 1 after the student
radio station, Fusion 106, won the prestigious Radio 1/Lee
Jeans prize for Student Radio Station of the Year.
An excellent environment
It has invested much in the campus to provide an excellent
environment in which the staff and students can teach and
learn. Here, you'll find some of the best learning
resources in the sector; en-suite accommodation, smart new
cafe bars, excellent IT facilities and sporting facilities
that are among the best in the country. Glamorgan was
honoured to be the first modern university to host the
Halifax British University Games in 2001.
