The
University encourages an active approach to learning,
and the courses are designed to be stim ulating
and interesting. How you are taught varies, depending on
your course; some involve more formal lectures, and some
more practical work.
All
courses use a mixture of continual assessment of
practical work, assignments, and examinations.
Whatever
your chosen subject, you will be encouraged to undertake
work on your own and get involved in group
projects and assignments. Some modules encourage you
to study at your own pace and in your own time, by using
the Internet and distance learning materials.
