University Owned or Allocated Accommodation
The
University has over 1,700 bed spaces in University owned or
allocated Halls (Wardley House is managed by Unipol Student Homes).
The majority are all situated within a 5 minute walk of the
University's main campus.
Student Contents Insurance
It is important that
your personal possessions are insured from theft or accidental
damage whilst at University. Free block/halls insurance is
provided up to specified limits whilst living in University owned
accommodation. Details of this cover will be posted to every student
with their Room Offer letter. If extra cover is required this can be
arranged by contacting Endsleigh Insurance.

All Saints Hall (postgraduate accommodation)
Approx: 88 single study-bedrooms
Situated on the
Laisteridge Lane site this hall is used for postgraduate students.
It is organised into flats with 7 or 8 bedrooms and a kitchen/dining
room. Each bedroom has en-suite toilet and bathroom
facilities. There is an intercom system on the entrance doors and a
card-operated access system for added security.
5Bradford Hall
University Hall
Approx:
235 single study-bedrooms
These Halls are
situated in the centre of the main campus. Wherever your department
is based on the campus, you will only have a short walk to and from
lectures.
These two halls offer
excellent facilities. They are organised into contained sections
with 7 or 8 bedrooms, a kitchen with separate dining are and
shower/toilet facilities.
There is an intercom
system on the entrance doors and a card-operated access system for
added security.
Charles Morris Hall
Approx: 50 single study-bedrooms
Situated on the
Laisteridge Lane site, this Hall is allocated primarily to Health
care students. Each single study-bedroom has a washbasin, and each
group of 8 or 9 rooms shares a kitchen/dining room and
bathroom/toilet facilities. There is a card operated access system
for added security.
Dennis
Bellamy Hall
Revis Barber Hall (postgraduate accommodation)
Approx: 317 single study-bedrooms
These two Halls are
situated on the Laisteridge Lane site, which is only a five-minute
walk from the main campus. Each study-bedroom has a washbasin. Each
floor has 3 dining kitchens for 21 students to share and and shared
toilet and bathroom facilities. There is an intercom system on the
entrance doors and a card-operated access system for added security.
International House
(postgraduate accommodation)
Approx: 21 single study-bedrooms
Situated on the
Laisteridge Lane site this Hall is primarily allocated to
postgraduate students. It is organised into flats with 7 or 8
bedrooms and a kitchen/dining room. Each bedroom has en-suite
toilet and bathroom facilities. There is an intercom system and card
operated access system on the entrance doors for added security.
Kirkstone Hall
Longside Hall
Approx: 525 single study-bedrooms
These two Halls are
situated on the main campus, and again have the advantage of being
very close to the University's amenities.
They provide
self-catering accommodation in blocks of approximately 24
study-bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own washbasin. In each block
there are two dining kitchens, and shared bathroom/toilet
facilities. There is a card-operated access system on the entrance
doors for added security.
Trinity
Hall
Approx: 250 single study-bedrooms
This self-catered Hall
on the Laisteridge Lane site is split into three separate houses.
Each house is organised into flats with 7 or 8 bedrooms and a
kitchen/dining room.
One of the houses
(House A) has bedrooms with en-suite toilet and shower
facilities. The other two houses have shared toilet and bathroom
facilities in each flat. There is an intercom system on the entrance
doors for added security.
Vernon Barnby Hall
(postgraduate accommodation)
Approx: 25 single study-bedrooms
This Hall is situated
at the School of Management. The bedrooms have en-suite
toilet and shower facilities, and there are three dining kitchens
within the Hall. The rooms are allocated primarily to postgraduate
students following courses at the School of Management.
Wardley House
(University allocated accommodation)
Approx: 218 single study-bedrooms
This
property is managed by Unipol Student Homes, a charity offering
directly allocated accommodation to students from the University.
This newly developed
Hall opened in September 2003 and is located in the heart of the
city centre. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities. The Hall
is organised into flats of 3, 4 or 5 bedrooms each with a shared
kitchen with separate dining living area, with dishwashers also
provided.
NB There is no
car parking facility with this Hall.
