Accommodation is an important part of your university
experience. Our residences will help you settle
comfortably into the university environment, providing
you with a home and a base for study, socialising,
exercising and enjoying student life. We offer you the
opportunity to live as part of a student community and
to establish friendships with others who have varied
interests and backgrounds. The University offers a
number of lifestyle options to suit students at
different stages of their university life.
Catered Halls of Residence are the ideal starting
point for recent school leavers. At a Hall, students
can make friends, enjoy specially organised social and
sports events, and make the most of the academic and
personal support provided by a dedicated team of
Residential Managers and Residential Assistants.
Self-catered university-managed apartments provide
an independent lifestyle for more mature students.
Home-stay and private flatting options are also
available.
Applications for accommodation can be made online
from the 1st of August for the following year as well
as throughout the year for the current year. While
there is no closing date, you are strongly encouraged
to submit your application before the 1st October as
the first round of offers for placement for the
following year are made soon after the 1st October
