Health & Safety
The Health and Safety Services team
are responsible for services such as maintenance of the accident reporting
system, providing advice on occupational health and safety issues and for
monitoring noise, dusts and fumes in the workplace.

Information Services
Information Services is a major
University administrative department with responsibilities covering library,
academic and administrative computing, digital communications and audio-visual
services.
Physical Resources
To support the delivery of the
University's Corporate and Academic aims through the efficient management,
maintenance and development of a quality physical environment appropriate to the
needs of the users.
Planning & Governance Services
The department is responsible for the
functions relating to general legal affairs, ceremonial duties, data protection,
university secretariat duties, strategic and operational planning, student data
and information, student related statutory returns, student loads, student
related performance monitoring and risk management.
Research Office
The Research Office advises on and supports
applications for grants and contracts. It administers the recruitment,
admission, registration, progress and examination of research students.
Quality Assurance and Enhancement
Department
Information including: external
review of subjects, internal subject monitoring, collaborative provision
monitoring, internal audit, external continuation audit/institutional review,
staff development, educational development and equal opportunity policy and
practice.
Sport and Recreation

the provision of appropriate developmental opportunities supporting all staff in
