ABOUT TPI:
Toronto Polytechnic Institute (TPI) is a not-for-profit
post-secondary education institution operating under the Letters
Patent of the Government of Ontario, Canada and offering
career-oriented education to students from around the world.
TPI offers a range of diploma programs at both the
undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the following disciplinary
areas: E-commerce Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology,
Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Media and
Communications, and Digital Art Design and Production. Their
interdisciplinary diploma programs help students become versatile
and adaptable, which are essential attributes at a time when careers
are no longer clear-cut or simply defined.
TPI is staffed with highly educated and experienced
teachers. Each instructor brings a rigorous approach to teaching and
learning. The full-time academic staff is complemented by a large
contingent of part-time lecturers and tutors drawn from industry and
the professions.
TPI features state-of-the-art facilities to enhance
learning, which include computer labs, high-speed internet services,
and digital art design equipment and software.
TPI offers international students an array of English
as a Second Language courses to enhance their integrated English
skills. Courses in business communication English are also provided
to help graduates succeed in the labor market. All ESL courses at
TPI are taught by experienced teachers with native English
proficiency. All international students are tested in accordance
with the criteria of IELTS and then streamed into appropriate class
levels. Students learn and progress in an intensive, situational,
English-learning environment.
TPI is located in Toronto, Ontario, the financial and
business centre of Canada, and one of the most culturally and

FACILITIES :
Toronto Polytechnic Institute operates from a new educational
facility in North York. We offer a stimulating environment which
includes computer laboratories and a reference library. Teachers and
students are trained in the use of modern technological
communications systems. They have Pentium IV and Macintosh G4 OEM
computers equipped with broadband Internet access.
These resources facilitate the learning process by connecting
students to global information resources that are used at school, at
home and in the community. The TPI’s highly trained academic staff
has many years of teaching experience and an understanding of the
needs of pre-university students.
