English language provision
It offers free language classes throughout the academic
year to help you improve your written and spoken English,
concentrating especially on English for academic purposes.
If English is not your first language, you will be
expected to have attained a certain level, usually through
a recognized English language qualification. The minimum
requirement for undergraduate level is IELTS - 6.0; TOEFL
- 580 and Cambridge Proficiency or Advanced Grade C or
above and CB TOEFL - 237. Postgraduates will need a
minimum of TOEFL 6.5 and higher for some business related
programmes. If you are not at this standard, the
University offers three month pre-sessional English
courses prior to the start of your course
Even if you have the minimum requirement, but feel you
need further classes, it offers free support classes to
help you with study skills, grammar, business English and
English for academic purposes.
Scholarships
The University is part of the Chevening Scholarship
programme and it currently has two Chevening scholars
studying on Postgraduate courses. Check with your British
Council Office for details of application procedures.
Fees
Fees are payable for each academic year. Nationals of an
EU country will normally be eligible to pay the home rate
of fee. |
